Notification as a testing laboratory for water analyses in Bavaria (LaborV) for the sampling of groundwater and surface water

For water analyses in the legally regulated area, e.g. in the execution of the Water Resources Act or the Bavarian Water Act, testing laboratories require approval in accordance with the Laboratory Ordinance (LaborV). On 22. March 2023, the Bavarian State Office for the Environment approved us for the sampling of groundwater and surface water (AQS 05/137/23). (Notification document) (Annex list of methods)

Auszug aus der Laborverordnung (LaborV) vom 22. November 2010:

§ 7 General obligations
Testing laboratories are obliged,

  1. to carry out their tasks properly, impartially and independently,,

2. to carry out their tasks themselves with their own personnel and suitable equipment; individual analyses may be transferred to testing laboratories with an approval for the corresponding approval areas in accordance with § 2,

3. to treat all information in connection with the analysis orders as confidential,

4. to apply the prescribed sampling and analysis methods,

5. to notify the State Office immediately and without being asked of any significant changes to the approval requirements, in particular the closure of the laboratory and significant changes in the scope of testing and in the operational or personnel equipment.
